SPEAKING

This used to be the awkward bit. The bit where I say, in the third person, something like 'Amol is a hugely in-demand speaker. He has an industry-leading reputation for high energy, deeply insightful, funny, warm and eye-opening speeches - which is why he always, always gets invited back. He relishes delivering keynotes, after-dinner speaking, emcee'ing, moderation, fireside chats, and other formats too. And your organisation would benefit enormously from his time.

But I couldn't possibly say that, because the truth is, I don't find this awkward at all. Especially since, having left BBC News, I no longer have to declare how much I earn from doing it. So instead I shall be frank and say: I love speaking. I enjoy it, I get excited by it, I put a huge amount of work into it, and I've made a career out of it. 

I especially like going into great institutions, providing real and deep and original insight into what's going on in our world, and expanding minds and horizons. The evidence of the testimonials below accords, frankly, with the feedback I get in the room and privately from the C-Suite afterwards, which is that they are always extremely happy to have booked me.
