The Club has four membership tiers: Laker (free newsletter registration), and Barnes, Murali and Warne (paid memberships). Warne is the highest paid tier. Free Laker registration is available from age 13, with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian if you are under 18. Paid memberships are available only to adults aged 18 or over. The benefits of each tier are set out in the Amol Rajan Connection Club Membership Terms.
3.1 Information you provide to us
Account and membership information: your name, email address, account credentials, membership tier, subscription status and account preferences.
Newsletter information: your email address and preferences when you subscribe to our newsletter or other communications.
Payment and transaction information: records of membership payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing address and transaction history. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full payment-card details.
Customer-support information: communications, queries, feedback, complaints and information you provide when contacting us.
Community information: your display name, profile information, posts, comments and interactions where you use Club community features, together with reports and moderation records relating to community content.
Event information: information needed to administer Club event benefits, including membership eligibility, ticket-priority status, ARC Live ticket allocation and communications about events.
Public-recognition choices: your chosen display name and opt-in preference if you are a Warne member who chooses to appear in show credits or in the Patrons and Partners section of the Website.
Merchandise eligibility information: limited information necessary to verify eligibility for a Club merchandise discount.
3.2 Information we do not collect
Event ticketing, attendance, accessibility and dietary information is collected and processed separately by Fane under its own privacy notice and terms. Accessibility and dietary information can reveal information about a person’s health. We do not ask for, collect or hold accessibility, dietary or health information that you provide directly to Fane; Fane processes that information as an independent controller, on its own legal basis and under its own notice. If you have an accessibility or dietary requirement for an event, please raise it with Fane through its booking process.
3.3 Information collected automatically
When you use the Website, newsletter or Club, we and our service providers may collect:
Your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and browser settings.
Pages visited, content viewed, links clicked, the date and time of visits, referring URL and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information about email delivery and engagement, such as whether an email has been delivered or opened, or a link clicked.
Information about your access to Club content, subscription status and use of community features.

beehiiv, which hosts aspects of our newsletter, Club membership and community functionality, and which is currently our only analytics provider.
Stripe, which processes membership and other payments.
Teemill, where necessary to administer Club merchandise discounts or related enquiries.
Fane and other ticketing or event partners, where necessary to administer ticket priority, ARC Live ticket allocations and Club-related event benefits.
Hosting, security and technology providers.
Public sources or fraud-prevention providers, where permitted by law and necessary.
We use your personal information for the following purposes.
Creating and administering your account, providing Club benefits and delivering the newsletter you have requested. Legal basis: necessary to perform our contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Processing payments and managing subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds and receipts. Legal basis: necessary to perform our contract with you; necessary to comply with legal obligations.
Verifying eligibility for priority booking, administering ARC Live ticket entitlements and communicating about Club events. Legal basis: necessary to perform our membership contract with you.
Enabling access to the Teemill merchandise store and applying member discounts. Legal basis: necessary to perform our membership contract with you and, where applicable, our legitimate interests in administering Club benefits.
Responding to queries, complaints and support requests. Legal basis: necessary to perform our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services.
Operating, moderating and protecting community features. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in maintaining a safe and functional community and enforcing our terms.
Understanding and improving the Website, Club and newsletter, including measuring engagement and performance. Legal basis: consent, where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used; otherwise our legitimate interests in understanding and improving our services.
Sending service messages, including renewal reminders, payment notices, changes to the service, security messages and legal notices. Legal basis: necessary to perform our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating the service.
Sending promotional marketing about our own products and services, including Club offers, live-event announcements, ticket offers and merchandise promotions. Legal basis: your consent, given through a separate, unticked marketing opt-in.
Preventing fraud, misuse, security incidents and unlawful activity. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in protecting our business, our members and our systems; legal obligations where applicable. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we send you the editorial newsletter you have asked for.
We ask separately for your consent to send you promotional marketing, including Club offers, live-event announcements, ticket offers and merchandise promotions. That consent is given through a separate, unticked box, which is never pre-selected. You can subscribe to the newsletter and join the Club without agreeing to receive promotional marketing, and declining it does not affect your newsletter or your membership benefits.
You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, by changing your preferences in the link or account area we provide, or by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of marketing sent before your request. We keep limited information on a suppression list so that we respect your choice.
Separately from marketing, we send service communications that are necessary for your account or membership, such as purchase confirmations, payment receipts, renewal reminders, changes to the Club, security alerts, legal notices and other important administrative information. These are clearly distinct from promotional marketing, and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an active account or membership.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
beehiiv, to host and deliver newsletters, operate membership features and support community functionality, and to provide analytics about newsletter and Website engagement.
Stripe, to process payments, manage recurring subscriptions and process refunds.
Teemill, which is the merchant of record for merchandise purchases. Teemill operates the merchandise storefront and processes the personal information needed to take payment, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support and manage returns and other merchandise enquiries. This may include your name, contact details, delivery address, order details, payment information and communications. Teemill processes that information under its own privacy notice and terms.
Fane and other ticketing or event partners, to administer live events. We share only the limited information needed to verify eligibility and administer entitlements, such as your name, email address, membership tier and eligibility for priority booking or an ARC Live ticket. Fane and other ticketing partners process ticket-purchase, attendance, accessibility, dietary and event-administration information under their own privacy notices and terms.
Website hosting, technical-support, security, email and communications providers. • Professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers.
Regulators, law-enforcement agencies, courts or other authorities, where required by law or necessary to protect rights, property or safety.
Buyers, investors or their advisers in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganisation, asset sale or other business transfer.
Some recipients process personal information on our behalf as our service providers. Others, including Stripe, Teemill, Fane and other ticketing partners, process personal information as independent controllers under their own privacy notices.
Some of our providers, including beehiiv and Stripe, are based outside the United Kingdom or process personal information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States.
Where personal information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard required by UK data protection law, together with any additional measures needed to protect the information.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Website and Club, meet legal, tax, accounting and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect our rights.
Our usual retention periods are:
Account information is kept while your account remains active.
For free Laker accounts, we generally keep account information for 12 months after account closure or your last meaningful interaction with us.
For paid membership accounts and membership-benefit records, including Barnes, Murali and Warne membership, we generally keep relevant records for six years after your membership ends or your account is closed.
Payment, subscription, invoice and VAT records are generally kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year. We do not keep full payment-card details; Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy notice and retention practices.
Marketing-consent records are kept while your consent remains active and for six years after you withdraw it, so that we can demonstrate the basis on which we contacted you. We keep minimal suppression-list information for as long as necessary to make sure we do not send you marketing after you opt out.
Cookie-consent records are kept while your choice remains current and for up to 24 months after it is changed or withdrawn.
Customer-support enquiries and complaints are generally kept for 24 months after resolution.
Community posts and comments are kept while they remain published, unless deleted, removed, or required to be kept for legal, security or moderation purposes. We may keep relevant moderation and security records for 12 months after account closure or content removal.
Information used to administer ticket priority and ARC Live ticket entitlements is generally kept for six years after the relevant membership ends.
We aim to keep only limited merchandise-discount and event-entitlement information. Teemill and Fane keep merchandise and ticketing records under their own privacy notices.
Analytics information is kept in accordance with the retention settings configured with beehiiv, which we keep under review and aim to keep to the shortest practicable period.
Security logs and IP-address records are generally kept for between six and 12 months, unless they are needed for a longer period to investigate an incident. We may keep information for longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, investigate fraud or misuse, comply with a legal obligation, or resolve a dispute.
We use cookies and similar technologies, including tags, local storage and analytics technologies, to operate the Website, remember your preferences, keep the Website secure and measure performance.

The Website and free Laker registration may be used by individuals aged 13 or over. If you are under 18, you should use the Website and the free service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Paid Club memberships are available only to adults aged 18 or over.
Age is self-declared when you register. We may suspend or delete an account where we reasonably believe the user is under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental authorisation, we will take steps to delete it.
The Website links to third-party websites, apps and services, including Teemill for merchandise and Fane for event ticketing.
