Patchwork Foundation in partnership with UK Community Foundations and the Beacon Awards for Philanthropy organised an Evening with Rt Hon Vince Cable MP. This event was kindly sponsored by CCLA in association with: Mosaic & Emerald Network.
Over 200 leading entrepreneurs and business leaders listened to a stage interview with Lord Rumi Verjee CBE about his life (business and philanthropic experience/lessons) and to heard a speech and engage in an open Q&A with The Rt Hon Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.
The event included contributions from David Sheepshanks CBE DL -- Chair, UK Community Foundations and Baroness Usha Prashar CBE -- Honorary President, UK Community Foundations. Amol Rajan, Editor of The Independent conducted the stage interview and the event chair was Shabir Randeree CBE, Joint Vice Chairman of HRH The Prince of Wales's Mosaic.
